While some illustrations are very clear in what they portray, sometimes such drawings can become a little bit too “on the nose.” The works of authors like avogado6 are more poetic and enigmatic than that, and they make their viewer pause a little bit and reflect.
And even though they’re united under a rigid pastel anime style, the topics are diverse and moods shift from blues to creepy and cruel. But no matter the topic, they have a certain melancholic and existential atmosphere that makes it hard to mistake his work for someone else’s.
